Show the work behind a recommendation
At launch, these standards are the plan; we will label a page research-only until its evidence is complete.
Three kinds of evidence
Manufacturer or software-vendor specification: we name the source, version, model and date. A requirement is not an independent performance test.
Direct observation: we disclose acquisition method, exact tested configuration, software, settings, power state, drivers, environment, repeat runs and limitations.
Editorial inference: we explain the reasoning and conditions. We do not present a processor-name guess as a benchmark or a family-level result as proof for every configuration.
What a hands-on test requires
- Exact India configuration, including relevant CPU/GPU power, memory, storage, display and operating system
- Named software version, workload and repeatable steps
- Power mode, plugged-in or battery state, thermal conditions, drivers and number of runs
- Original measurements or photographs with rights and context
- Clear limits, reviewer identity and review date
Recommendations and commercial links
Commission does not determine verdicts. We include value choices and no-purchase outcomes. Commercial recommendations should identify the exact variant, evidence status, drawback, warranty source and a valid India destination. We do not show live prices, stock, ratings or offers without an authorized compliant data source.
Corrections and updates
If software requirements, a model variant, warranty, link or published claim changes, the page should be rechecked. We change review dates only after a meaningful review. Readers can send corrections through the contact page.
Current status: no laptop has been bought, borrowed, independently tested or configured by this publication. Existing guides are marked research-only and do not recommend a specific product.
